Long-standing free house on the old main road through the village, which is now bypassed. Two large rooms and now also a smaller one which was used for dining. The pub seems to change management frequently and has no online presence so not much information. Under new management from summer 2024. Serves breakfast and early dinner with roast on Sunday. Popular with Oxford United supporters on match days. Has real ale again.

Listed. Late C18/early C19. Possibly a re-fronting of an earlier building.
