Opened in September 2011 following conversion from a Wilkinson's store. High vaulted roof over main room, with clerestory windows. Natural oak timber and cream painted interior, with a large central room fronted by long single bar, with a number of smaller rooms leading off. There are numerous styles of seating and tables. The main room has been designed to look like a baronial hall, complete with knight on horseback. A photo tribute to a retired local newspaper reporter is in the room on the way to the outdoor smoking and drinking area at the back of the pub. The pub opens at 8am for breakfast but alcohol is not served until 9am.

Historic Interest

Named after William Peverel, the son of William the Conqueror who held land in Bulwell according to the Domesday Book.
