Previous description: A two-roomed pub offering a range of cask ales and keg beers from microbreweries and regionals; also international bottled beers. Darts and dominoes are played in the front bar. General knowledge quiz on Wednesdays, live music on Thursdays, Live music or comedy on Saturday. It is a venue for Leicester Comedy Festival and has monthly comedy events. Italian-style pizzas are available.
Historic Interest
Built as the Nags Head by Burton brewers Bass Ratcliff & Gretton in 1960; ironwork on the balcony has an illustration of the original name. Sold by Bass in 1991 to Hardy & Hanson of Kimberley. Acquired as a free house, renamed and reopened in January 2003 and leased to Market Harborough Brewery in 2016. Acquired by Dhillon's Brewery of Coventry in 2018.
