This small beer-orientated pub occupies a listed building built in the 1890's as a dwelling. More recently it has been a wine bar and shop. The nice crisp modern interior has comfy bench seating; upstairs there are two attractive small rooms. There are three handpumps, usually serving beers from small breweries. Along the back wall of the bar are six taps serving unusual and ever-changing 'craft keg' beers. Quiet background music is played in the bar. Quality samosas are normally available. The pub also operates as a bottle shop with an interesting range for off- and on-sales.
Historic Interest
