Brewdog closed at short notice in March 2023. Industrial style decor with mix of high and low seating. Main bar and a side room on the ground floor; a further room upstairs.

In February 2025, reopening as "Club Tanzanite Bar & Lounge". It is proposed initially only to open weekends, 9pm to 1am, and will be more of a nightclub style bar with DJs.

Historic Interest

A rebuild in 1996 of an old office building retaining the old frontage to Friar Lane. Opened as a VARSITY bar by Banks's in November 1997. Opened as a Brewdog pub in 2015, but closed in 2023.
