Friendly village pub, overlooking Westover cricket ground, with traditional public bar. Splendid views of Westover and Brighstone Forest and of Freshwater Cliffs in the distance. Garden, patio and large car park. Good homemade food and a daily roast. Excellent selection of ales with 1 in the winter and 2 in the summer. Winkle Street, a local tourist attraction is but a short stagger away. Friendly dogs are welcome. May close early in winter. This is a family friendly pub under the Enterprise banner. Community events arranged. Occasional cider with the occasional National beer in the winter. May close a little earlier on wild winter nights.
