The Sportsman’s Rest has been a beloved part of Porchfield since 1857 and was reopened by the current tenants in 2023. Steeped in history and full of character, this traditional village pub offers everything you’d hope for in a classic countryside retreat. They offer three real ales on the pump, usually with a locally brewed ale on offer, as well as a selection of bottled beer. You can also enjoy a classic pub menu with homemade meals. A rural pub popular with locals, and the perfect stop for walkers & cyclists.
