Anthony Goddard established, what is now the oldest, active brewery on the Isle of Wight, in 1993. Originally occupying an 18th-century barn, a new brewery was built in 2008, quadrupling its capacity. It has since been increased again following a move to Branstone Farm in 2023. Goddards' remain a locally-focused business distributing ales on the island, and easily accessible to southern English counties.
