This Pub is Temporarily Closed

Country inn on the road out of Ripon towards Boroughbridge, this is an eating destination though it caters for casual drinkers too. One end of the building is a popular restaurant, the other is a bar area but furnished with chairs and tables. The pub is decorated with old blow lamps, farming, livestock and beauty spot pictures while the restaurant has a collection of farming implements. A single handpump at the end of the counter serves a local beer, usually Theakston’s Best Bitter.
