This Pub is Closed Long Term

Superb country inn with beautiful exterior and enclosed garden. Partly dating from 1563, the pub retains a slightly rustic feel with panelling, settles, old paintings and an imposing Elizabethan fireplace. Bought 2018 by the Lucky Onion group, they are investing in a sympathetic refurbishment and due to reopen summer 2020.

Grade II listed. Historic England list UID: 1090077. Reputed to have parts dating from 1563. Enlarged to sides & rear in the 20th century.
