A famous popular family friendly coaching inn near Windermere, set in tranquil surroundings. There is a public bar serving real ales from its own brewery situated alongside the adjoining lounge, both have open fires. The hotel is named after the last wild boar killed in Westmorland by Sir Richard de Gilpin.
