A small but lively single-room local's pub in the centre of the village that is accessed via a corridor off the main road. It has a traditional feel with tiled floors, a beamed ceiling, much woodwork and a coal fire. The stained glass windows to the rear are evidence of previous ownership by the Melbourne Brewery. Three TV screens show sport (or 70's & 80's music when there is no sport). Old photos of the village and local sports teams are displayed. A heated outside area at the rear is available for smokers. It is popular with locals, walkers and cyclists. Disabled access is possible via the back door. Card payments accepted (except AMEX).
This Pub serves 2 changing beers and 2 regular beers.
