There are plenty of reminders to the White Hart in Ripley; White Hart Meadows, White Hart Court,. The pub itself was known as The Spread Eagle until the mid 18th Century when it changed its name following the closure of an earlier White Hart. This pub was closed in the 1980s, and converted to a shop.
