Bought from Websters by Samuel Smiths some years ago, this sturdy stone built pub is a friendly local. It has a traditional public bar and quiet lounge.

When visited in Aug 2022, it remained closed and had been for a long time. It was still closed down when passed in August 2025. A sign asking for new pub managers was being displayed.
