In the 18th Century, this large pub was a three-storey grain warehouse but is now an unspoilt single-roomed local with a very small taproom at the rear. Lots of horse brasses on the old wooden beams and superb Ramsden windows. There is outside seating to the front of the pub. Covered, heated smoking shelter to the rear. A dominoes knockout competition is held on Tuesday evenings. There is a quiz night on Thursdays. Fridays and Saturdays host a karaoke evening. Children are welcome until 8pm.
When visited in Aug 2022, there were two hand-pulls present on the bar but they were no longer in use and real ale was no longer available.
