Situated a few minutes walk from the town centre. A true free house, the ethos of the this award winning community local is quality, choice of ale and the comfort of customers a priority. Up to five guest beers of varying strength are sourced mainly from local micros in Lancashire and Yorkshire, featuring at least one session beer, a strong one and a dark one. Quiz on second and last Wednesday of the month. Dementia Friendly group meet every Thursday. Groups such as Aireworth Dogs in Need and the local Horticultural society use the function room for meetings, and the pub is home to 'Keg Busters' in the Airedale quiz league. Branch Pub of the Year 2020/21 and 2022. Suggestions welcome for new beers. A no bad language policy is in place.
