Large, multi-roomed hotel pub located to the east of Ilkley and close to Ben Rhydding railway station. It has a clean, modern, country feel and there are numerous wood-burning fires throughout. The pub majors on food and is very popular. Local produce is used where possible. As well as lunch and dinner, breakfast is also offered and available from 8am to 11am (10.30am on Sundays). Food is served 12pm to 7pm on Bank Holiday Mondays. For those wanting to stay there are 12 rooms. The beer range varies and often includes a house beer (Wheatley Pale Ale) as well as two regulars and a guest. This pub was re-opened in June 2009 after a successful CAMRA-supported local campaign. There is a weekly quiz on Sunday nights and board games are available.
