A quirky hidden gem in a commercial / industrial area just outside of the town centre and adjacent to Booths supermarket. The bar is easily identified by the large red doors that form its entrance. Once inside, the open-plan room obviously had a commercial past but is now softened by rustic timber furnishings. Behind the servery, eight 'indie keg' taps dispense a range of beers from Bini Brewery. A single hand-pull on the servery is occasionally used for cask beers (but not often enough to guarantee its availability). A fridge stocks an extensive range of canned beers from Bini and other independent breweries. A selection of wines, cocktails and snacks are also offered. Street food is often available. Children seated at a table with adults are welcome until 18:00. The venue may be able to host private parties but not on Fridays or Saturdays. There is an extensive selection of vinyl that is sometimes played on the adjacent record deck.
Payment is by card only.
