This large popular red brick street corner community pub reopened in May 2024 after a period of closure and now serves a variety of locally brewed ales. There are three separate eating and drinking areas on the ground floor including one suitable for functions, plus another larger function room upstairs. A real fire features in the main room with a pool table in the area to the left of the bar. There is a weekly quiz on Mondays, fortnightly comedy nights on Wednesdays and board games are also available to play. Food options include pizzas, burgers, fish dishes and small plates, with food deals including Steak Night on Thursdays and Fish Fridays. On Sundays only roasts are served.
