The Smuggler's Den is a riverside pub on the banks of the River Crouch in Hullbridge. Originally a barn with wooden beams throughout this was opened as a social club in 1947 and is now run as a pub. It is a single room pub that serves 3 real ales including house beer SX Smugglers from the Hope Brewery. There are 2 outside gardens with one of them being on the riverbank. Live DJ's at weekends with a dance floor to the right side of the pub and food is served daily with a selection of daily specials. 10% discount on ales to CAMRA members.
