300-year-old village local with much exposed stone internally. Large fireplace at one end of the main bar, cosy stove at the other. Large restaurant area. The pub is noted for its floral display in summer.

The Nympsfield Community Pub Group are campaigning to save the pub. They have completed a community consultation, and have registered Nympsfield Community Pub Ltd (NCPL) as a Community Benefit Society. The have launched a share offer to raise over £400,000 to buy the pub. See this article for more details.
They made an offer to the owner in February 2025 but the offer was rejected and the pub is now back on the market (see this article.
