Rose & Crown Inn, Briton Ferry

When seen on 30 August 2026, this pub was Permanently closed, was empty and was being completely refurbished. With the red painted rendering removed and replaced by new unpainted render, some windows were being replaced and scaffolding was surrounding it. It is to become a Chinese Restaurant.

This pub had been up for auction with Paul Fosh Auctioneers on several auctions between July 2025 & April 2026 remaining unsold!

Long pub spread over what may have been two properties, in a quiet cul-de-sac on the Southern edge of the town. There is also a pedestrian footpath which leads onto a busy junction of nearby main roads A474, Neath Road & A48.

When visited in Aug 2023, the pub was closed. Advised that it is normally open only in the evenings on weekdays & Saturdays, closed on Sundays. Opening times may vary from those stated.
