The hotel also has a bar / lounge open to the public
Large family-owned Hotel and Spa located in its own grounds, near to the main entrance road into Swansea City. The hotel gets its name from the prominent and unusual brick built octagonal tower, which sits on a large mound in the middle of the grounds and may be hired as a suite.
The hotel has two bars. One the Penderyn Lounge Bar is for residents. But the Tap Bar and the Conservatory Restaurant, which are located at the end of the hotel nearest the village are both open to non-residents. Weekly live music tribute evenings are usually held each Friday (some Saturdays).
