Traditional and friendly local, set back slightly from the main road, with a large paved patio/parking area in front. The central entrance opens into a series of three rooms, with the bar on the right, with a quieter open lounge on the left, leading, in turn, into a games room, all with beamed ceilings. In addition to the front patio, there is a nice big beer garden at the rear, facing onto a local park. As well as being on the main road through the town, this pub is convenient for the local train station and as a stop off for walkers.
