A traditional country pub that has been refurbished without spoiling the ambience of this low ceiling, rural retreat. Food is served in the traditional bar as well as in the cosy lounge. Snacks through to restaurant style cooked meals are available. Outside there is a large car park, paved patio and a large garden and plenty of space for adults and a play area for children. BBQs are a regular occurrence during the summer months with drinks (including two real ales) served from an outside bar. Sunday roasts are very popular so booking is recommended. The pub may close from 9pm if it is quiet.
