A friendly and welcoming roadside pub built in 1700s and set back off the A491. It reopened after a major refurbishment under new ownership in 2025 but still retains a great community atmosphere. A single lounge bar with traditional wooden beams and patterned tiles serves beer from Hobsons, Enville, Three Tuns as well as guest ales that typically include Church End, Holdens and Castle Rock. There is also a small raised restaurant area and a TV which shows major events at the landlord's discretion. A traditional pub menu focuses on home-made quality and includes seasonal dishes alongside fish and chips, Black Country Faggots, Sunday roasts and cobs. There is a beer garden to the rear behind the car park overlooking a meadow and there's roadside outdoor seating at the front of the pub. Dogs welcome.
If driving from the south, it's advisable to exit at Bell End to avoid having to turn around at the roundabout at the end of the A491. The pub is also served by the 318 Bromsgrove -Stourbridge bus service.
This Pub serves 2 changing beers and 3 regular beers.
Changing beers typically include: Castle Rock - Elsie Mo , Church End - Goat's Milk , Holden's - Woodsetton Pale Ale
