The Red House is an old, substantial, stone built pub, located by the side of the A37, just south of Yeovil. The name ‘Red House’ is believed to derive from the name ‘Redlings’, the rich arable land around the pub being reddish in colour.
An new inside skittle alley rediscovered and significantly rebuilt thenks to a pubs games enthusiast and now enjoys regular use with the lounge area now changed considerably.
The menus have changed and a carvery is popular on Sundays.
