Roadside pub with a unique name commemorating a high speed mail coach.
Unmissable when coming into Yeovil on the A37 from Dorchester.
The pub has been run by the same friendly landlord since 2002 and it has virtually been ever present in the Guide. There is a large single bar and separate dining area serving excellent food and a well priced range of wine. The pub is a well known live music destination and also holds comedy, bingo and quiz nights in the bar or function room. Camping in the carpark is restricted to motorhomes.
Known as a good food pub and a welcoming place for groups or families to visit.
Steps into bar and dining area make it fairly inaccessible for disabled people but the function room is disabled friendly.
