Licensed restaurant with no real ale.
Re-opened in 2025 after extensive refurbishment as an Italian Restaurant after several years of closure. Originally the Crown, a Robinsons pub, then the Saxon Grill at the Crown in 2013 (pub and restaurant). No real ale, purely a licensed restaurant.

Exposed timber framed gable at rear with painted brick noggin, and 2 early 19C casement windows. Old town pub, nearest pub to the Saxon crosses. Refurbished internally March 2013. All internal features completely replaced in 2025 and a rear single storey extension, added.
