Just re-opened after a period of closure with Wez Birch at the helm (also runs the Ship at Brimscombe). Wez has completed a refurb of the pub and is open for wet sales at the moment with plans to have the kitchen refurb completed by Sept allowing food to be offered. There are pop up food events using outside catering occasionally - see Facebook page for details.

Superb village inn well worth seeking out. Very welcoming. A host of features including open fireplaces, oak flooring and pine furniture. Large patio with good views across the Frome valley.

Historic Interest

It is believed that the Old Neighbourhood nee Mechanics Arms was trading in 1856. The name change occurred in 1992.
