This Restaurant is Permanently Closed
This is a restaurant, where drinking alcohol, including draught and bottled beer, is only allowed when food is being consumed.
Located next to Jubilee Park, start (or end) point of Cheshire's Sandstone Trail. Previous owners bought the place in September 2012, and revived the former Rendezvous in the Park by converting the old mill into what the owners described as a "Hotel, Bar and Restaurant" The downstairs bar was of a contemporary style, tastefully done and with plenty of comfortable chairs and sofas. The addition of a glassed extension to the rear is a pleasing facility. The restaurant is in the upper part of the building. Initially tended to be a haunt for the younger set, which was also reflected in the nature of the events taking place. It was the sister pub to the Globe in Nantwich, so Woodlands beers were often available, They used to have a mobile bar service, called Mill on the Move.
In 2015 ownership changed again, it is now a Thai restaurant with no real ale currently available, though a sole handpump survives (Nov 2015)
