This Pub is Closed Long Term

Gin bar and restaurant.

Chemist's shop converted to a bar. Closed suddenly when managers walked out. Reopened again end of August but reduced opening hours and not serving cask ale although has 2 pumps on the bar. Has some beer in bottles and on tap.

Closed again early January, asbestos discovered in cellar.

Historic Interest

Chemist's shop throughout C20. Rear was a reading room and retains 'lanterns' in roof.
