This fine old pub has an enviable riverside location without being quite on the river. There are several small rooms and a courtyard garden. It struggled for some time until Greene King did not renew when the lease expired in May 2023. From August 2025 in new hands and running a lively programme of events and activities. When you've had enough to eat and drink you can hire a paddleboard or kayak.
