Attractive pub in village surroundings just off the A30 in the middle of West Coker.
Parking can be a challenge at busy times.
Formerly 'Skittles restaurant, then 'Inn the Square' and closed for a couple of years. Reopened and renamed the New Inn and then closed and reopened under new management with two real ales as well as usual kegs.
Decent pub food with a changing menu as the new owners set up.
The unique skittle alley that ran at the top of the bar area has now been shut off rom the bar area which itself has gone under major changes with an enlarged bar and a new pub entrance moved to the yard area under the archway.
