Reopened in February 2020 having closed in January. Previously the pub had reopened in September 2017 under new management after a refurbishment.

Despite looking small from the outside, this pub has three separate bars.

The former public bar may sometimes be laid out for diners.

Beware: the side bar doors exit directly on to the road as there is no pavement.

Sadly, as at autumn 2024, the three handpumps had not been used for years.
