This Pub is Closed Long Term
At the top of the town, on what was originally the old road to Kingsbridge, this 17th-century inn, the oldest pub in Totnes, still retains what was probably its original old oak door. The interior is old oak beams, timber panelling and stone floors, open fires with the separate 24 cover dining room having an old iron pump and stone trough in the corner. At the rear of the bar area there is a short flight of stairs that leads to a separate function/meeting room that has its own bar, and can accommodate up to 100 people catering for any event or party. Closed on Mondays except Bank Holidays.
