Friendly 16th-century village pub with thick stone walls, oak beams and high-backed settles. Real Fire. Quiet room. Evening meals Monday to Saturday, and lunch Saturday and Sunday. Breakfast is also available on Saturday. Small garden with a lovely outlook over the countryside.

Closed since Feb 2023, and for sale since Sep 2023. The Cleeve Prior Community Pub Limited, a Community Benefit Society was registered. They raised £358K in Government, District Council and other grants plus over £160K in share sales and other donations, and we were able to submit a purchase bid of £320K in January 2025, which was accepted, however the owner then accepted a higher bid of £350K from a local man.
