Historic Interest
Grade II listed (1245715) building. Glazed tile frontage and acid etched bar windows proudly shout its heritage. According to Gloucester Civic Society there was an inn on the site of the Imperial originally called The Plough, which appeared in licensing records in 1772, but this may have been much older. This was purchased by Mitchell and Butler in 1898 who rebuilt it in their typical elaborately moulded glazed exterior tile exterior and was renamed The Imperial.
This Pub serves no changing beers and 2 regular beers.
