This large pub, located at the junction of the A6/A610, is convenient for walkers on the Cromford Canal and only a few minutes from the railway station. It has a very modernised interior with multiple eating and drinking areas. There is a large function suite (popular for weddings) with its own garden while pub users have a choice of three outside drinking areas, two at the front and one at the very rear which has the advantage of overlooking the sloping cricket ground.
