A village pub recently reopened once again after a long period of closure. Black Sheep brewery have assisted in the latest renovation.

A community group, The Half Moon Inn Community Steering Group are working with Sharow Parish Council, CAMRA and community-building charity, and Plunkett Foundation with the aim of purchasing the pub.
