The pictures above showing the housing that replaced the George and the wall sign showing the year of completion of construction were both taken on 6 September 2015.

Those showing the two adjacent Bromley Borough notice boards, relating to the histories of the George and Farnborough Village, were taken on 19 and 18 2023, respectively.

Farnborough Village History Society has a web page relating to Farnborough pubs, which includes three historical pictures of the George, referring to it by its earlier name of the George and Dragon.

The News Shopper published an article about objections to plans to demolish the building and redevelop the site.

The Dover Kent Archive's entry about the pub includes a picture of its pub sign in 1986.
