This is a club, which means that the bar may be only open to members.

Originally the English Electric Social & Athletic Association (Social Club) with extensive facilities near the works built in about 1960. Gradually parts of the building were taken over for other use by the company. Closed by GEC Alstom in 1995. Buildings demolished in 2006.

Location shown here is a little uncertain, and postcode is modern nearby one, but it was overlooking the bowling greens which remained.
