This Pub is Permanently Closed

The Crayfish had already closed by April 2010, and was demolished in 2012. [Google Earth shows it was demolished sometime between April 2009 and June 2010]

The first picture, of the pub in its heyday, is from National Brewery Heritage Trust, United Kingdom - CC BY-SA.

The third shows the pub prior to demolition: © Stacey Harris, via the Closed Pubs web page, with permission. It can also be seen on the pub’s Dover Kent Archives web page, which also has a picture of the pub while still open.

The picture showing the houses that have replaced the pub was taken on 6 May 2021.
