The Cowley Vaults is only a short distance from the town centre, it offers 6 hand-pulls daily with rotational cask and one real cider.

This is friendly local community pub hosting pool teams and live music entertainment. There is a large beer garden to the rear and side. Food is available from the Cowley Grill and can also be ordered from the Turks Head. On a Monday and Tuesday the Cowley Grill element of the pub is open for take away food but the main pub area is closed.
