Built in 1854 this friendly town centre pub was tastefully renovated in 2022 highlighting many of its historical features. Six real ales are available with at least one from a local brewery.
The pub stands on the corner of Corporation and College streets, near the centre of St Helens. The corner house consists of a traditional two room layout with vaults and a lounge. There is a small but comfortable beer garden to the rear.
The pub is a 3 minute walk from St Helens main bus station, or a 5 minute walk from St Helens Central train station.
