Coburgs is situated in Ryde - the lively & bustling heart of the Isle of Wight. Originally named The Kent Hotel and built in 1835, this grade II listed building was once the favourite haunt of Queen Victoria and her royal entourage. After a stint as The Royal Squadron, Coburgs has recently (2013) been refurbished & restored back to its former Victorian-style elegance, creating the perfect place to socialise and watch bands in style. The venue boasts a late-licence front bar, private VIP champagne lounge and a large music venue & bar. With live music every week, big name bands, DJ sets and comedy nights - there is something to suit everybody. A private outdoor area caters for the smokers and Coburgs is just a 5 minute walk from the ferry (& train) terminal, making us easy to reach from Portsmouth. Charges for some bands.
