This Pub is Permanently Closed
A beerhouse located across the main road from the Coach & Horses public house which belonged to the same owners. The owner was the Earl of Shrewsbury & Talbot and the licensee from at least 1900 to 1912 was Mrs Rebecca Evans. The licence was referred in 1912 and compensation of £500 was paid to the owner in October 1912. The pub closed in December 1912. The building has subsequently been demolished and an electricity sub-station and the car park for boat moorings now occupy the site
