This imposing building on the main A684 is a few hundred yards above the famous Aysgarth falls. A residential hotel with an upmarket ambience, it has a public bar serving real ales which is popular with locals, its own fishing stretch on the River Ure, and a campsite to the rear. The guest ales are usually from local breweries. Palmers Restaurant offers a menu that is different to the bar meals.
