This is a club, which means that the bar may be only open to members.

Non-members welcome.

Well-established and friendly bowling and social club with an indoor skittle alley available for hire and a bowling green to the rear of the club.

Club activities include charity quizzes, themed and live music events, line dancing, Bridge Club, indoor and outdoor League bowls, music concerts featuring a guest keyboard artist each month along with other community events.

There is a monthly Auction on the first Wednesday of each month, Burntwood Folk club meets on the 2nd Wednesday of the month and Hammerwich Classic Car Group hold their monthly meetings on the third Wednesday of each month.

The club room is available for hire for private events including weddings, christenings, funeral wakes and caters for all celebrations.

Historic Interest

The current Elias Ashmole Ashmall Club and Institute opened in 1956. The name for it has been shortened in recent years.

Adapted WC with baby changing facilities. Level access access via a concrete slope at the main car park into the club which is all on one level with access to all areas of the club and double doors for the function room, lounge bar and main entrance. Three shallow steps at the main front entrance. Double doors and gently sloped ramp to the bowling green and terrace areas.
