Picturesque country pub dating from the 16th century offering pub meals and Greene King beers. Part of the Chef & Brewer chain, the three ales on offer tend towards the mainstream with some surprises on the changing ale pump.

There are beams and dark wood in the variety of rooms surrounding the central bar. Note the log fire near the front entrance, and sun trap beer terraces to the front and side.

There is a large function room. CAMRA members are offered 10% off cask beer.
